Manifesto
Hello, my name is Glen. Welcome to my blog
When I was 6 years old my Dad, Ron had just finished building a 40ft yacht which he, my Mum and I then sailed around the world for the next 7 years. By the time I was 14 and had returned home to Australia, I had visited 46 countries and circumnavigated the planet. Now, in my late 20’s I have spent the last 10 years of my life as an entrepreneur in small business learning to handle all the ups and downs that come along with it. From generating $10m in revenue one year and actually loosing money, to expanding our business from Australia to the UK, to selling my shares 2 years later in the middle of the worlds worst economic crisis… I definitely have some stories to tell. I have been fortunate to have been invited so share some of those stories on the topics of entrepreneurship and social enterprise in over 14 countries and am most comfortable when I have a project to work on that has the potential to inspire others. I now live in Bali, Indonesia conducting experiments in lifestyle re-design and am discovering that you don’t need to live in a big city and work like a slave to build a business, make a difference and be happy.
